CFC Continues to Enable Child Abusers

On April 16, 2026, almost four years after Sean Ferguson was charged with child sexual abuse, Jeremie Keleher was arrested for a felony sex offense involving minors following a six-month investigation.

Both Sean Ferguson and Jeremie Keleher attended CFC Madrid, and both men were reportedly counseled by Bill Hull, a long-time CFC leader. Has Christian Fellowship Center become a safer place for children in the past four years? Let’s examine some of the evidence.

After Sean Ferguson took a plea deal in 2023, Pastor Rick Sinclair issued a statement to North Country Now: “The Ferguson family is moving forward, and I continue to pray for and support them.” Following the plea deal, Sinclair reportedly invited Ferguson on stage and welcomed him back to the congregation.

In 2024, CFC required parents to sign a CSAP waiver if they sent teenagers to a youth retreat, saying standard CSAP procedures will be “maintained as much as possible” and “some rooms will have a mix of both minors and chaperones.” The language in the waiver indicates that CFC still does not understand the typical perpetrator of child sexual abuse (a religious married male), views child protection policies as optional, and is primarily concerned with legal liability.

When Pastor Ben Levendusky was notified that Keleher was in his congregation, his response was to quietly send Keleher away, instead of alerting the congregation. Right before Keleher was reported in October 2025, he was highlighted for co-founding a girls’ flag football team. Despite Keleher’s significant access to multiple vulnerable children, Levendusky declined to notify the CFC congregations that another predator was in their midst.

Has CFC become a safer place for children? CFCtoo does not believe that it has.
